I was afraid to return from injury, admits Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted he was afraid to return in Real Madrid's 1-0 win over Bayern Munich, but insists he was fit enough to return to Champions League action.

The Portugal international has not featured since the Blancos' 3-0 home leg win over Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-final - exactly three weeks prior to his start at Santiago Bernabeu against the European champions.

Cristiano Ronaldo was fit enough to complete a full training session on Monday for Real Madrid as they prepare for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final with Bayern Munich.

Moin to serve as chief selector and manager: PCB

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed former captain and coach Moin Khan as chief selector and Zaheer Abbas as adviser to the chairman.
Khan was the coach and Abbas was the batting consultant of the teams which recently could not defend its Asia Cup title and also could not make it to the semifinals of World Twenty20.
The PCB says in a statement on Monday that Khan will also be the team manager, with permission from his employer, Pakistan International Airlines.

Blow to Delhi, KP Out; Karthik to Lead

Delhi Daredevils suffered a big jolt ahead of their IPL campaign as captain Kevin Pietersen was Wednesday ruled out of their opening match against Royal Challengers Bangalore Thursday due to a finger injury.     
Pietersen, who was bought by Daredevils for USD 1.5 million (Rs 9 crore), had sustained an injury on his right hand little finger during fielding drills with Surrey at The Oval last month.
